MidCity District is celebrating The Orion Amphitheater’s opening weekend with a huge community festival! Amazing food, 3 stages with 20 performers, over 60 local non-profits and vendors, art, kids activities, and more!

Family Day in the Park

When: 7AM-2PM | Saturday, May 14th

Where: Sharon Johnston Park, New Market

Cost: FREE

 It’s not just a Family Day for the community, it’s also a Classic Car Show and Youth Fishing Rodeo! Head out to Sharon Johnston Park for all sorts of FREE family fun this Saturday!

Dragon Boat Race & Festival

When: 8:30AM-4PM | Saturday, May 14th

Where: Point Mallard Aquatic Center, Decatur

Cost: FREE

Approximately fifty teams and more than 1,200 paddlers will make waves in Decatur as the Dragon Boat Race & Festival returns for a ninth year! This family friendly event is a fundraiser for the Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation.
