Dallas based Global sports entertainment company TopGolf now has a location in Huntsville, at the site of the old Madison Square Mall. Hit balls at a climate-controlled driving range, catch the big game, and enjoy food and drink at the new Rocket City outpost of the London-born chain, which operates 44 venues in the United States and United Kingdom (including another in Birmingham).

There are 72 hitting bays, event and meeting spaces available, full service restaurant and bars, free WiFi, hundreds of HDTVs, and a firepit (always a magnet for me). TopGolf offers competitive league and training programs for kids and adults.

TopGolf U Classes are available for groups of up to six. They’re taught by certified instructors and available as single classes ($29) or in five-packs for $125, a $20 savings. Parties and events for fundraisers, kids. companies, and small or large groups are available. Book online or request info at topgolf.com/us/plan-an-event.

For the peckish, an ample menu awaits in the restaurant. Choose from coffee, beer, wine, liquor, and specialty cocktails and a hearty selection of bar foods like quesadillas, flatbreads, and sliders. There are salads and other sandwiches on offer, as well as what appears to be their signature dish, “Mushi (Only at TopGolf!)”: cilantro sticky rice, drunken beans, spiced chicken, cheddar cheese, jalapeno tortilla, sour cream, avocado, and Sriracha.

If golf’s your game and you’ve got a little cabin fever, head out to TopGolf Huntsville and try out this exciting new Rocket City attraction.
