If Chip and Joanna Gaines came to the Rocket City, I’m certain that Sweet Pineapple would be Joanna’s favorite store.  The lovely gift shop on Airport Road has leather bracelets, dangling earrings, and cute clothing like I’ve seen her wear.

The Perfect Little Gift Shop

Sweet Pineapple is locally owned by Gina Garrett, who initially opened the gift shop in Huntsville’s 5-Points area.  Soft-spoken with a friendly smile, Gina said, “I always loved gift-giving, and I grew up with a mom who is very talented at that and is always so thoughtful.  It’s funny—I have a sister, and we would go to stores she’d called ‘fun stores’ when we were growing up.  They were little gift stores where you found unique things and always got really special customer service, which is import to me.”

Gina and her team work hard to provide Sweet Pineapple guests with a positive shopping experience, along with lots of beautiful, unique gifts from which to choose.

Home Décor, Accessories, Paper, Jewelry, Art, Baby Gifts, Clothing, & Gift Cards

One shelf at Sweet Pineapple holds baby-soft animal blankies for babies.  A notebook titled 100 Gathered Thoughts (for My Beautiful Child) would be a lovely gift for the writer on your list.

This sweet little Huntsville store carries candles, art, home décor, jewelry, lamps, baby clothing, and more.

Gifts for Him!

Another entire shelf is dedicated to gifts for him.  One of my favorite gifts on that shelf is aHunting Log.  I’m no hunter, but being from Choctaw County—one of the hunting meccas of our state—I know a lot of men who would love to receive one of these leather-bound journals to take to the woods.

Lots of Price Points

“We carry a variety of price points,” said Gina. “I’m pretty passionate about that.  You can choose a $10 gift, and the prices go upwards from there.  Our customers can find something really special and feel good about their purchase.  I want everyone feeling good about that.”

Gina said, “I love the store’s atmosphere.  We work hard to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere where clients have a lot to choose from.” What’s Gina’s favorite thing about owning the store?

“The people,” she said with a smile.  “I’ve got a lot of really, really amazing women who work here.  And we love our precious customers. Some have shopped with me since day one on Pratt Avenue.  I get to meet a lot of new clients now that I’m over here on Huntsville’s Airport Road.”

A Stress-Free Shopping Experience

Sweet Pineapple offers complimentary gift-wrapping, which makes for an easy shopping experience.

“We’re always on the lookout for new, special things,” said Gina.  “We have gifts for everyone.  We also offer complimentary gift wrapping.  If you come in for a co-worker’s gift, your mom’s gift, a baby shower…you can go get the gift, have it gift wrapped, and be ready to go.  It’s a stress-free shopping experience.”
