Southern Caboodle Boutique and Personalized Gifts is the best little shopping secret in the Huntsville area. Located in charming Downtown Madison, you’ll benefit from personal service that only a small local shop affords. You’ll be able to put together an entire ensemble in just one store!
Ashley Howard is the shop owner and mother of two adorable children. Ashley began making things for her daughter as a hobby. Before long, she was selling the merchandise online, and her business has taken off from there!
Southern Caboodle is known for its trendy women and children’s clothing, hats, shoes, and other chic accessories that Ashley is always updating. They carry tons of portrait-perfect ruffled tops and pants for your little cuties. If you’re planning to go to the big ball game, you can find plenty of customizable spirit wear, particularly for Alabama and Auburn fans. Southern Caboodle sells stylish leggings of all stripes, patterns, and textures—the perfect pair-up for the cute tops and dresses sold in their boutique. I am definitely going Christmas shopping at this little place!
Whether you want to customize boots, tops, pants, or whatever else, Ashley works hard to provide quick turn-around. She says, “I’m trying to do same-day service if the customer requests it by a certain time… We’ll be adding personalized t-shirts by the first of the year.” Ashley does the embroidery right in the store rather than contracting the work out. Therefore, she passes the savings on to her customers. Southern Caboodle offers discounts to schools for ordering bulk items such as t-shirts.
Whereas some cute clothes tend to wear out quickly, Ashley says, “A lot of the clothing at Southern Caboodle is thicker than some of the big-name brands.” Ashley is proud to sell a quality product and without passing the cost on to her customers.
Speaking of price, Ashley says that Southern Caboodle Boutique and Personalized Gifts is known for having lower prices. “Clothing at another boutique might be ten to twenty dollars higher because I’m not marking it up like everybody else. I’m seeing clothing and accessories in the $40 - $50 range in other stores, and mine is only $25 - $35. I’m trying to be more reasonable for people to be able to afford getting new clothes.” Not only will you benefit from Southern Caboodle’s low prices, the Rocket City benefits when you buy local!
