Rocket City Bath Bomb Gift for Mom

Go into any boutique, and you’re likely to find those wildly popular bath bombs. Well, guess what? Rocket City Local found a web site that teaches us all how to make the things!

What exactly is a bath bomb?

I know, we live near Redstone Arsenal and hear something exploding there at least once a week.  After you’ve lived in Huntsville long enough, what sounds like an explosion doesn’t even make you bat an eye anymore.

But I’m talking about a bath bomb, the size of a golf ball or baseball, that goes into your bath and makes it all fizzy.  Bath bombs also make Mom’s skin smell good and feel like silk. They’re lots of fun, trust me!

A gift that your kids can make!

Ask any mom, and she’ll probably tell you that her favorite gifts are made by the hands of her kids.  Many thanks to Holly, who posted this fun DIY craft idea on her site, Life on South Pointe Drive.

Ingredients:

*  I found the metal molds at Hobby Lobby for only $5.99 because I wanted to make sure we have them locally.  I’m sure our other hobby stores will have them, as well.  I found them in the aisle with the soap-making stuff.
