Matt Curtis Real Estate has just helped you find your dream home in Rocket City, but you might have one small problem. Many times you find your dream house, but the back yard is what you could consider a blank slate. It might be a simple concrete patio and beautifully growing grass, nice, but not what you would consider an outdoor living space. Across The Pond has everything you need to transform your backyard into the outdoor living space of your dreams.
Across the Pond started as a 900 square feet water garden store ran out Treavor Cole’s landscape offices. It was born of Treavor’s love for backyard ponds. Customer kept coming and asking for a large variety of products. In 2003, Across the Pond opened and now has 24,000 square feet of retail space dedicated to outdoor living.
The retail space boasts a large garden store, building dedicated to outdoor furnishings, a fish house, a large show koi pond, as well a supply yard where you can purchase materials for your hardscapes. If your imagination is lacking, take the afternoon and come out to browse the store and you will be sure to come up with lots of ideas of projects for your new backyard.
If you aren’t up to a large project, Across The Pond also carries lots of rocks that are great for painting and hiding around Rocket City. If you want to know more about hiding rocks in Rocket City check out this post about “Kindness Rocks”.
I personally shopped Across the Pond frequently when I was designing my koi pond. I found Across the Pond to have the largest variety and best quality koi fish and pond supplies in Rocket City. Their staff was always exceptional and always ready to provide helpful advice or put us in touch with the expert staff member who could help. With advice, fish, and plant from Across the Pond and a lot of hard work my husband and I transformed our plain backyard into this beautiful backyard retreat.
Across the Pond has grown tremendously since I started shopping with them back in 2007. The original location is located at 7004 N Memorial Parkway in Huntsville has continued to expand its offerings and now carries its own line of outdoor furniture. They also added a second location that is located at 125 Fairground Rd in Florence. Check out the location closest to you for all your outdoor living needs!
